A story of isolation in the Australian outback, delivering suffocating horror

Stranded in the unforgiving isolation of a remote Australian highway, three backpackers accept help from a seemingly friendly man. That’s all we can say about the film, but trust us, it introduces one of the most terrifying horror villains of recent years: Mick Taylor.
The Rotten Tomatoes scores aren’t the strongest, but this is one of those cases where you might be pleasantly surprise. It’s become a true cult classic. Wolf Creek was marketed as being inspired by real crimes and even spawned a sequel and a TV series.
