Announcement — Categories updates

We have a few updates to share ahead of the upcoming #SixStarsCinemaAwards.

For the 5th edition only, the Musical genre did not reach the minimum quorum required for individual category consideration. As a result, the Supporting Actress and Supporting Actor categories have been consolidated into a single Supporting Performance category, and the Lead Actress and Lead Actor categories into a single Lead Performance category.

Additional, ongoing updates:

From this edition onward, the genre title will simply be “Musical”, with the “Romance and” designation removed. Additionally, the genre space formerly dedicated to fantastical films has been permanently renamed “Fantasy, Superhero or Sci-Fi”.
