In 1943, a young couple — expecting their first child — lives in isolation in Andorra while World War II echoes around the country. When Jews fleeing Nazism arrive in the valley, they’re faced with a dangerous moral dilemma. As secrets buried beneath the snow start to surface, one question remains: survival or humanity?
This is the story of El fred que crema, also known as The Burning Cold, a historical drama shot in Andorra and in the Pyrenees, in the province of Lleida.
